Earlier, social media insider Michael Benson reported that Fury was in talks with representatives from Saudi Arabia to meet the winner of the heavyweight title fight between Alexander Usyk and Anthony Joshua. It was alleged that the fight was set to take place on December 17 in Qatar.
Fury announced his retirement immediately after his victory over Dillian Whyte in April 2022. Fury claimed the 32nd victory in 33 fights in his professional career, the Brits ended one more fight in a draw.
