On Friday, Khataev, competing in the weight class up to 80kg, lost a split decision to Nurbek Oralbay of Kazakhstan.
Two Russian boxers reached the final – Sharabudtin Ataev (up to 86 kg) and Muslim Gadzhimagomedov (up to 92 kg).
