The WBC heavyweight champion of the world wants to make more money from the fight for the undisputed title.
Tyson Fury has admitted that negotiations for a duel between him and Oleksandr Usyk must have been disrupted because of him. According to the British boxer, his greed took over.
The WBC world heavyweight champion just wants to make more money in the unification bout, which he already hopes to get in Saudi Arabia.
“There’s a lot going on with Saudi Arabia. There’s a lot of money being discussed there. I just think the temptation to make $100 million or $75 million instead of fighting now is prevailing.
As I said earlier, the fight should take place this year. It’s a simple job,” Fury told Boxing Social.
We will remind, Fury previously announced when he intends to meet with Oleksandr Usyk.
