The American intends to gain an advantage due to the dimensions
Undisputed World Lightweight Champion Devin Haney stated that he wanted to show his superiority in size compared to the former world champion in three weight categories Vasily Lomachenkoeasily pushing the Ukrainian at the weigh-in.
“It was just the beginning. See how easily I pushed him? He is smaller and I am going to impose my will on him,” said the American.
The Lomachenko-Haney fight will take place on May 20 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden and will be broadcast on PPV on ESPN+.
Recall that the MEGOGO service, which previously broadcast Lomachenko’s fights, and also acts as the official broadcaster of Oleksandr Usyk’s fights, refused to show the Lomachenko-Haney fight. The broadcast will be available on the Top Rank YouTube channel in Ukraine.
The referee in the ring will be Harvey Doc from New Jersey. Side judges are Dave Moretti and Tim Cheetham (both from Nevada), as well as David Sutherland (Oklahoma).
