Undisputed world champion in junior middleweight Jermell Charlo commented on the upcoming fight between the former world champion in three weight categories Vasily Lomachenko and undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney.
Lomachenko will beat Haney. Mark my words. Call it old if you like. I’m old too,” Charlo said curtly.
The Lomachenko-Haney fight will take place on May 20 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden and will be broadcast on PPV on ESPN+.
The MEGOGO service, which previously broadcast Lomachenko’s fights, and also acts as the official broadcaster of Oleksandr Usyk’s fights, refused to show the Lomachenko-Haney fight. On the territory of Ukraine, the broadcast will be available on the Top Rank YouTube channel.
The referee in the ring will be Harvey Doc from New Jersey. Side judges are Dave Moretti and Tim Cheetham (both from Nevada), as well as David Sutherland (Oklahoma).
