The Briton is ready to fight Usyk in case of his victory over Joshua
WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury announced that he was ready to return to the ring for a fee of 500 million pounds.
It was reported that the Briton would be ready to fight the winner of the second fight of Anthony Joshua and Alexander Usik for 200 million, but the information was denied by Fury himself.
“Even this news about 200 million does not tempt me. This is only half of what I would like for a return to the ring. I guess I’d like half a billion. I’m serious, if you want me to come back, it will cost 500 million,” Tyson said.
“If the fight costs half a billion, I can’t refuse, can I? You need to get this money, and the Gypsy King will return and solve all problems.
“Because if Joshua loses to Usyk again, only one person can pay the price for the great boxing nation of the United Kingdom – his name is Tyson Fury. I am ready to solve all the problems, all the shame that will come. One call. But it will cost 500 million. Pounds or dollars, I don’t care, as long as it’s half a billion.”
Fury previously announced his retirement from professional football after a convincing win over Dillian Whyte in April. At the same time, the Englishman has not yet vacated the WBC championship belt.
Joshua and Usyk are expected to fight their second fight in Saudi Arabia in August. The first fight last fall ended with Usyk’s victory after 12 rounds.
