Russian fighter and blogger Svyatoslav Kovalenko told he was not interested in a rematch with a compatriot Alexander Emelianenko .
Emelianenko beat blogger Yevgeny Ershov on Friday in Moscow with a painful hold. In December last year, Emelianenko lost to Kovalenko, three months earlier he lost in a boxing match to Vyacheslav Datsik.
— I looked at the cuts. It looks like Yershov even won there, but for some reason the fight continued. Apparently I didn’t quite understand the rules by which they fight.
After the fight, the manager issued a challenge to Ershov. I said yes. Now that they’ve heard of him, this fight makes sense. Why not put Eugene to bed?
Regarding the words of Emelianenko I refuse to have a rematch with him. Like I said, I didn’t get any offers, but I wouldn’t agree. Alexander now needs medicine, not fights, Kovalenko told .
