Malik Scott: You can never be sure about Fury, but Deontay and AJ are in talks to fight, with or without Tyson

Former world champions fight to be held in Saudi Arabia

Malik Scottformer world champion coach Deontay Wildercommented on the statement of the WBC world champion Tyson Fury regarding negotiations for a fight with the British Anthony Joshua.

“Everything about Fury, you just can’t bet because one day he’s going to fight and the next he’s retired. He can be very unpredictable.”

“But what can I tell you, with or without Tyson Fury, Deontay and AJ are in talks to fight in Saudi Arabia.”

Fury said earlier that he had sent Joshua a draft contract for the fight. Tyson’s team proposes to fight in September at Wembley.

Fury’s spokesman George Warren and promoter Joshua Eddie Hearn have already begun talks. Last year, the boxing teams also discussed a potential fight, but then the parties came to nothing.

Recall that Skill Challenge Entertainment plans to host a match of champions Usyk-Fury and a face-to-face fight of two former world champions Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder in the Middle East. According to promoter Eddie Hearn, the deal could bring the boxers up to $400 million if a night with two top fights can be arranged.
