Keith Thurman considers the judicial decisions in the fight for the title of absolute champion of the world to be fair.

Devin Haney was deservedly awarded the victory in the fight against Vasily Lomachenko. This is what former world welterweight champion Keith Thurman said.

In his opinion, the Ukrainian did not do enough to defeat the absolute world champion in lightweight.

“We used to say, ‘The fight is close, but the challenger didn’t do enough to beat the champion.’ How many times have we said that? Lomachenko didn’t do enough to beat the champion. He missed his four-punch combinations. Lomachenko thought he was throwing a lot, but he missed a lot.

Lomachenko has a problem with big fighters. We see the difference in the magnitude of this conflict. Lomachenko has moved up several weight classes, is a very young fighter. He moved up in weight during the course of his career to earn money and fulfill his dream of becoming a top boxer. He applied for all the titles, but failed,” Thurman said in an interview on Fight Hub TV’s YouTube channel.

The former famous American coach Roberto Garcia also believes that the fight is close and not enough to count Lomachenko’s victory.
