Russian mixed martial artist Edward Vartanyan told MMA.Metaratings.ru that he views the strong quality of his rival in the ACA Grand Prix Final, Artem Reznikov, as a simple power struggle.
– I don’t think the fight with Reznikov will be the most important in my career for me. For me, every fight is important. Even the one who died seven years ago. I feel young, hot, perky, 22 years old. An experienced fighter, but young in terms of fitness and other qualities. The most important thing is desire. The eyes are illuminated at 100%. They were on fire in the semi-finals. They didn’t come out, my eyes will burn as long as I can move. And in my universe, the fight with Artem is very important. Reznikov’s strong quality is a strong and direct fight,” Vartanyan said.
In the Grand Prix Final, Vartanyan (24-4) and Reznikov (24-6) will contest Grand Prix winner status and a $200,000 royalty.
