At the men’s world championship, which ended in mid-May in Tashkent, the Russian team won six medals (two gold and four bronze) and took third place overall. Competitions were held in 13 weight categories. Mounted on the top step of the podium Muslim Gadzhimagomedov (up to 92 kg) and Sharabutdin Ataev (up to 86 kg).
