Russian heavyweight boxer Dmitry Kudryashov tells MMA.Metaratings.ru that he sees Terence Crawford favorite against Errol Spence and considers their fight the biggest event in boxing.
The undisputed world welterweight title fight will take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 29.
I’ve been waiting for this fight for a long time. And I still don’t believe that will happen. Even though it was officially announced. Until they get in the ring, I won’t believe they meet. Both boxers have already been taken down a million times. I even went to Spence’s camp. Then they said he was a machine that couldn’t be stopped. Despite heavy punches, he is a sensitive power boxer. Their fight is the biggest event that can happen in boxing, if we completely stopped believing in the fight between Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev.
Spence is really cool, but after the accident, I honestly lost him. It did not shine. Crawford can collect not only keys for anyone, but also gloves, which he was very fond of. It definitely won’t work with Spence. He has a professional team and he is not Russian. You shouldn’t rely on gloves, but Crawford can rely on his skills, and I consider him a favorite,” Kudryashov said.
Crawford is 35 and holds the WBO middleweight belt. Terence has 39 wins (30 – KO) and remains undefeated in the professional ring. In his last fight, he beat Russian David Avanesyan earlier than expected in December 2022.
Spence, 33, owns the IBF, WBA, WBC belts and has won all of his 28 official fights (22 by knockout). In the last fight, he won ahead of schedule against Cuban Yordenis Ugas in April last year.
Boxing tournaments are broadcast live on the federal channel and the thematic channels of the holding, as well as on the sites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
