Russian Artur Subkhankulov defeated Kazakhstan representative Ablaykhan Khusainov in the main event of the professional boxing night in Moscow.
The fight in the framework of the first welterweight went the full distance and ended with the victory of Subkhankulov by unanimous decision of the judges.
Subkhankulov, multiple winner of the Russian championships, has six victories in the professional ring.
The evening’s co-main event between Russia’s Emir Basirov and Venezuela’s Esnaker Correia ended in outrage. In round two, Correa was hit by an opponent and fell to the ring floor. The Venezuelan got up, but the referee in the ring stopped the fight. Basirov took the victory by technical knockout. Correa was unhappy with the judge’s verdict and did not wait for the announcement of the final decision, leaving the ring.
