Kazakh ACA fighter Artem Reznikov did not gain weight before the fight with Brazilian Davi Ramos on the eve of the Grand Prix quarter-final bout at lightweight. This was announced to journalists by ACA President Alexei Yatsenko.
In the allotted time, the fighter could not drive the remaining 650 grams. At the same time, Reznikov will be admitted to the quarter-final fight, but will pay 20% of the fee to an opponent who successfully fits into the category. Ramos weighed 70.8kg.
The ACA Lightweight Grand Prix quarterfinal match between Reznikov and former UFC fighter Davi Ramos is June 17 in Sochi.
Reznikov, 30, has 22 wins and six losses in MMA, while the last time a Kazakh fighter entered the octagon was in September 2020, when he beat Russia’s Yusuf Raisov by split decision. After that, Reznikov managed to come into conflict with the ASA because of revenge with Raisov.
