The IOC Executive Board recommended at the organization’s session on Wednesday to withdraw recognition of the IBA in accordance with Rule 3.7 of the Olympic Charter, as the IBA failed to fulfill the conditions specified in the IOC’s decision. to suspend the IBA from 2021. The IOC Executive Board also recommended to the session “in the interests of athletes and sport” that boxing be maintained on the program of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in line with previous decisions . The IOC session will take place on June 22 by videoconference.
