The Ukrainian boxer will again help the undisputed middleweight champion Saul Alvarez.
Saul Alvarez plans to meet again in the ring with Russian Dmitry Bivol. The decision in this fight has not yet been announced, but Alexander Gvozdyk accidentally let it slip.
In an interview on the YouTube channel Two Sides / Two Sides, the Ukrainian boxer said that he was once again invited to help prepare for the fight.
The former world champion will be one of the Mexican’s sparring partners in the training camp ahead of the second leg with the Russian.
“Canelo was injured, he didn’t give 100% in the camp before the first fight in Bivol.
How about the second – I don’t know. I hope it goes well, because he has invited me as a sparring partner. Hopefully in a month we will start. I will try to motivate him to be better this time,” said Gvozdyk.
It can be remembered that Gvozdyk already helped the Mexican in preparation for the first match. In May 2022, Canelo lost to Bivol by decision.
Previously, Gvozdyk named the boxer he wanted to fight next.
