Timothy Bradley: Lomachenko should move down to featherweight because he can’t beat anyone at lightweight

The ex-world champion gave advice to the Ukrainian

Former world champion Timothy Bradley decided to suggest Vasily Lomachenko and gave career advice to the Ukrainian.

“Lomachenko should move down to featherweight because he can’t beat anyone at lightweight. He can’t beat the top guys.”

“Lomachenko won’t beat Shakur Stevenson and, damn it, he definitely won’t beat Gervonta Davis. He won’t fight Tank, it won’t happen.”

“So why doesn’t he move down to super featherweight and try to collect all the belts there? It makes sense. Lightweight has Kishon Davis, Abdullah Mason. Abdullah is younger, but there is a lot of talent at lightweight that will give Lomachenko serious problems.”

“So get down to second featherweight. Do you want to be the undisputed champion, bro? Let’s see if you can do it at featherweight instead of lightweight.”

Lomachenko lost to Haney for the title of undisputed world lightweight champion. According to the results of 12 rounds, the judges gave the victory to the American boxer: 116:112, 115:113, 115:113.

The sports community spoke about the unfair decision of the panel of judges. At the same time, WBC President Mauricio Suleiman supported the decision of the judges, indicating that the fight was very close on points.

Egis Klimas, the manager of the Ukrainian boxer, sent letters to the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO asking him to appoint the Ukrainian as the mandatory contender for the lightweight belts owned by Haney.
