Canelo plans to fight Jermall Charlo or Badu Jack before the end of the year

Alvarez’s manager Eddie Reynoso has been in talks with the PBC show’s founder regarding a potential fight

The absolute world champion in the second middleweight Saul “Canelo” Alvarez plans to hold another fight before the end of 2023. The most likely opponents are considered to be the holder of the WBC middleweight title Jermall Charlo and WBC cruiserweight champion badu jack.

Canelo, along with his trainer and manager Eddie Reynoso, met with Premier Boxing Champions founder Al Haymon to discuss a potential fight with Charlo. We will remind, earlier Jermell Charlo, the twin brother of Jermall, said that he would like to fight with Alvarez. Haymon represents the interests of both brothers.

Bada Jack is also considered a potential rival. The Swedish boxer plans to fight in Saudi Arabia in October. It is reported that Jack’s weight (under 200 pounds) could be a handicap for Canelo, who holds belts in the 168 pounds category.

Alvarez defeated WBO mandatory challenger John Ryder in May to defend his belts. All judges gave the victory to the Mexican – 120-107 and twice 118-109.
