Athletistic/MMA. Nikita Burchak, manager of Russian fighter Alexander Emelianenko, commented on his ward’s appearance and mood before and during the fight against blogger Evgeny Ershov.
After Emelianenko’s victory over Yershov by chokehold in late May, Burchak drew attention to issues Emelianenko is facing in his personal life, such as issues with his wife. He said Emelianenko might be a bit off the fight. A 20-year fighter, Emelianenko does not consider opponents like Ershov to be serious opponents. Burchak noted that Emelianenko was not in the best shape and not motivated enough, although every effort was made to prepare him in the right conditions. Burchak noted that he repeatedly spoke to Emelianenko about the wrong approach to these fights.
