Athletistic/MMA. Nikita Burchak, manager of Russian fighter Alexander Emelianenko, has commented on rumors that his ward went out drunk for a duel against blogger Yevgeny Ershov.
After Emelianenko’s victory over Yershov in late May by second-round chokehold, Burchak denied those rumours. He said there were no signs of intoxication. There were journalists, fighters and other people around, and if Emelianenko was drunk, it would be impossible to hide it. The press conferences were also attended by reporters, and no one noticed anything suspicious. Burchak stressed that the question is more about Emelianenko himself – why did he go into battle in such a state.
