The rival of the Ukrainian will be the Dominican Elvis Rodriguez
Former WBC junior welterweight champion Victor Postol (31-4, 12 KOs) will have his next fight with the Dominican Elvis Rodriguez (14-1-1, 12 KOs). The fight will take place on July 15th.
The Ukrainian fight will take place on the undercard of the fight between Frank Martin and Artem Harutyunyan in Las Vegas. Also on this evening will be the fight between Nonito Donaire and Alejandro Santiago for the WBC bantamweight belt.
Postol has previously stated that he plans to fight in the US in the summer. The Ukrainian rejected the offer of a duel with the Belarusian boxer.
In his last fight, Victor lost by TKO to Gary Russell in February 2022. This is the second consecutive defeat of the Ukrainian.
Postol held the WBC junior welterweight title in 2015 when he defeated Lucas Martin Matisse. A year later, he missed it, losing in a unification fight to Terence Crawford.
