WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson’s Fury announced that he had received an offer for a hybrid fight with UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
We had a conversation with Francis Ngannou about hybrid combat, we also spoke with Jon Jones right now. Yesterday I got an offer from the UFC, so you never know what’s going to happen. The future is bright, that’s for sure, there are a lot of options.
WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman said in a recent interview: “Tyson is a victim of his own success. People don’t want to fight him.” That’s exactly what’s happening to me right now. I think I’ve challenged (to fight) every one of the top 15 heavyweight divisions in the last six months, but I am still without an opponent,” Fury said on journalist Oscar Willis’ podcast.
In professional boxing, Fury, 34, world heavyweight champion according to the WBC, won 33 fights, one of which ended in a draw.
Jones, 35, in March 2023, at the UFC 285 starter tournament, defeated Frenchman Cyril Gan in a duel for the vacant heavyweight championship belt. In total, he has 27 wins and one loss in MMA.
Boxing tournaments are broadcast live on the federal channel, matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru sites.
