The company will not bargain for fees or other venues
Head of Boxing Skill Challenge Promotions Ahmed Abdallah said that his company will make a premium offer to the participants of the boxing evening, which is planned in December in Saudi Arabia. Abdallah dismisses reports that Skill Challenge offered $120 million for the fight Oleksandr Usyk With Tyson Fury.
“The boxing rumor mill is incredible. I don’t know where these things come from. There was not a single offer, not a single amount was announced to anyone.”
“As far as I understand, Tyson wants a fight. I know George Warren wants the fight and Frank Warren wants him in Queensberry. Usyk definitely wants a fight. AJ wants a fight, Eddie Hearn, Shelly Finkel, Deontay. There is nothing that should prevent this. And the offer that will be made from the Skill Challenge will be very good.”
“We are not going to go back and forth with him. It will be a premium price, and we will offer it to these guys and pay them their market value, and if not, maybe even a little more. We’re going to put on some great fights and a great event. If anything is stopping this fight, it’s that some people don’t want the fight to happen, not because he doesn’t have the money.”
Previously Usyk signed a contract with Skill Challenge Entertainment from Saudi Arabia. The Ukrainian believes that this cooperation will help organize the fight with Fury.
Skill Challenge Entertainment is planning a massive boxing night in the Middle East in December. Representatives of the company are negotiating the organization of the fight between Usyk and Fury, as well as the fight between two former world champions – Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.
