On Friday, Vartanyan defeated Artem Reznikov of Kazakhstan in the ACA Grand Prix Final. The main fight took place in Sochi and ended with a technical knockout in the third round. The fight was held at lightweight.

Vartanyan earned his 25th MMA win with four losses, Reznikov suffered his seventh loss with 24 wins.
