Chairman of the Supreme Supervisory Board of the Russian Kickboxing Federation Batu Khasikov invited to organize more national competitions.
In March 2023, the Executive Committee of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recommended that international sports federations carry out the individual admission of Russian and Belarusian athletes to the starts only in a neutral status, and only those who have not spoken publicly in favor of the IOC and are not associated with the armed forces or national security agencies.
– Russian athletes are now under sanctions. In other words, there is no possibility of participating in international tournaments. And our important task is to create alternative tournaments. What the President of the country, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, is talking about, Khasikov told the Loud program on the channel.
Russian athletes are not allowed by international federations in most competitions due to the situation in Ukraine.
