Grasso tops UFC women’s rankings regardless of weight class after Nunes’ retirement

Mexican Mixed Martial Artist Alexa Grasso topped the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s rankings, regardless of weight class, according to the UFC website.

Grasso holds the UFC flyweight title. The Mexican won the belt in early March by defeating Kyrgyzstan Valentina Shevchenko by submission at UFC 285.

Previously, the first place in the ranking, all weight categories combined, was occupied by the Brazilian Amanda Nunez. In June, the 35-year-old defended his bantamweight title and announced his retirement.

Grasso has 16 wins and 3 losses in his MMA career.
