Russian Mixed Martial Artist (MMA) Alexei Oleinik announced that he signed a contract for five boxing fights with a total amount of 10 million rubles.
Oleinik, 45, has 60 wins, 17 losses and a draw in MMA. Since 2014, Oleinik has been playing in the UFC. In May, in Moscow, the fighter had his first fight after leaving the UFC, losing against Briton Oli Thompson, but this fight was not included in official statistics.
– This is a boxing performance contract for five fights. My first fight was at the Kazan Kremlin Cup on August 20. The amount of the contract is 10 million rubles for five fights.
– And tell us how the wrestler, roughly speaking, came to boxing?
– As in a joke – lucky. Let’s go step by step… Ask me on August 27 after my talk.
– Is there information about the opponent?
– He’s a foreigner. I have been given names, but I will not disclose them until the contract is signed, ”reports the correspondent in the words of Oleinik.
