I have gone through different stages of my life and career. It all started with the fact that I wanted to show that I was not a coward and that I could enter the cage. I could do it. And it more or less worked. Then I wanted a belt – my first title from the Polish organization KSW. Then I wanted to become world champion in combat sambo, and I did. And then at the age of 36 I set myself the task of entering the UFC and after 7-8 months I entered the organization, where I spent 17 fights. Now my goal is to fight someone specific or get into an organization. I think in my own hierarchy I won’t find anyone higher than Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic, Mark Hunt, Fabricio Werdum. And who to put higher now? Cyril Ghana? He is a tough and strong fighter. Now he will win against Mirko Filipović, but then…
– Do you admit the possibility of a rematch with Oli Thompson, whom you lost by KO in the first fight after leaving the UFC? True, this meeting did not enter the official statistics.

“Not if someone suggests it. I have no animosity towards him, he is an experienced fighter who has fought in the best promotions, he has 40 fights. How many of these fighters do we have? There is few of it.
