Former world champion Parker: Usyk and Joshua are great boxers, but Fury surpasses them

The second fight between the British and the Ukrainian is scheduled for August

Former World Heavyweight Champion Joseph Parker spoke about the strengths of the world heavyweight champion according to the WBC Tyson Fury.

According to Parker, it is too early for Tyson to end his career. Also, the New Zealander believes that Fury is able to cope with the winner of the pair Oleksandr Usyk – Anthony Joshua.

“It’s hard to leave when you are the world champion and you are at the top. I don’t think Fury needs to go. He should fight the winner of the Joshua-Usyk pair.”

“Anthony and Alexander are great boxers, but Fury excels them. Tyson is strong, he knows how to apply pressure, he moves well. I think he can knock out any of them.”

Parker has had two fights with Derek Chisora since May last year, winning both by 12 rounds. In September, Joseph will face the undefeated Joe Joyce.

Fury said he was ready to return to the ring for a fee of 500 million pounds. The Briton can fight the winner of the second fight between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk.

Tyson announced his retirement from professional football after a convincing victory over Dillian Whyte in April. At the same time, the Englishman has not yet vacated the WBC championship belt.

The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 13 or 20 in Saudi Arabia. The rematch between Usyk and Joshua will be broadcast live on the DAZN streaming platform and will be broadcast on the PPV (pay-per-view) system.

Last fall, the Ukrainian boxer defeated Joshua by unanimous decision and won the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight championship belts.
