In a four-round fight in the weight category up to 60 kg, 26-year-old Levan Khasaya (Moscow) beat 19-year-old German Ardzheniya (Tula) by a majority of judges’ votes on points.
In the weight category up to 65 kg, 19-year-old Ilya Ivanov (Moscow) won in a 4-round fight against 25-year-old Ilya Kulikov (Tula) by a separate decision of the judges.
21-year-old Igor Sviridchenkov (Tula) defeated 25-year-old Shohabbos Shukurov (Moscow) by majority vote in a 4-round fight in the weight class up to 70 kg.
32-year-old Yusup Magomedbekov (Moscow) beat 21-year-old Karen Avetisyan (Tula) earlier than expected by technical knockout in the second round in a fight in the weight class up to 80 kg.
Vadim Shcheblykin (Tula), 21, beat Yegor Sotnikov (Moscow), 22, earlier than expected in the weight class up to 92 kg by technical knockout in the second round.
Saturday will take place the last meeting of the first round between “Stalingrad” (Federal District of the South and North Caucasus) and “Kama” (Federal District of the Volga and the Urals).
Previously, “Leningrad”, representing St. Petersburg, defeated the team “Siberia” (boxers from the Siberian and Far Eastern federal districts) with the score 3-2.
The competitions take place in four cities: St. Petersburg (June 16-18 and July 8-10), Moscow (June 24-26), Kazan (July 1-3) and Orenburg (July 15-17). On July 30, the final of the tournament will take place on Red Square in Moscow. The prize fund is 20 million rubles.
