The athlete also pointed out how she incorporates her philosophy of life into her style inside the octagon. “I am a person who really likes to study the internal part. My father taught me a lot about this samurai, warrior side. As we come from judo, we work a lot on these mentality things, so I always try to focus on myself, on my team, on my essence, where I came from”explained Ricci.
Born in Birigui, Tabatha also highlighted the importance of the victory against Jessica Penne (the third in a row) in his most recent fight. “I kind of let you know that I’m coming and that I’m super excited to show more of my work to everyone, especially to the UFC. So, I think my era is just beginning and I’m super excited for Saturday and whatever comes next too”she declared excitedly.
Finally, the 28-year-old athlete sent a message to the spectators of the fight on Saturday, the 24th: “I would tell you guys to be really excited, because it’s going to be a very ‘adrenaline’ fight, and you can expect that I’ll always give the best of me, because when I’m there, for me, it’s life or death. And I hope that the person on the other side is also prepared for the same things that I am too. It’s war inside.”
