“My brother and I grew up together and we still train together. When we were teenagers, we were in the same weight class and couldn’t compete for the same country. My uncle had one goal – the Olympics, so that we are both selected there.Therefore, the brother represents the national team of Tajikistan.
– Have you faced each other in competitions while performing in the same weight category?
— Yes, it happened several times. At a young age, they mostly met in the finals. In Kazan, at the Grand Slam, they met in the third battle.
