– You train in Irkutsk in your uncle’s club. Your club cooperates with Japanese schools. Is there a Japanese wrestling tactic in the training process?
– I had a Mongolian coach from the age of 13, who himself studied and trained in Japan. From childhood, I focused on Japanese technology. We were given a completely Japanese base in wrestling. Thanks to which I had an advantage, I knew different fighting styles and found something for me. Now I have a Japanese coach – Tamuro Tori. He has the ninth dan, almost no one in Russia has such a dan.
– Does training in the Russian national team differ from your training with a Japanese coach?
“All systems are different,” Makhmadbekov told .
