On July 5, the Sirius Federal Territory Martial Arts Academy, as part of the Gazprom for Children project, will host the superfinal of the Triumph Energy Children’s Judo League.
Young judokas passed the selection, which lasted almost six months, and won the right to fight for the awards of the Sirius tournament. A total of 9 youth teams and 4 girls teams will take part in the decisive competitions.
At the start of the league, 111 clubs determined the strongest within the individual divisions. Local tournaments were held in 7 federal districts. Boys and girls took part in the tatami in 24 different cities, and judokas from Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Abkhazia also became their rivals. The best of the best tickets won for the martial arts academy.
At Sirius, fans will be able to see athletes representing the following teams: Rodina (Ekaterinburg), two-time Triumph Energy League winner, Olimp (Fryazino), Akhmat (Grozny), Blagoveshchensk School of Sports, Sambo and Judo School “(Armavir) – champions of the competition in 2021, “ShOR Judo” (Krasnoyarsk), “Judo Center” (Orenburg), “Patriot im. AV Fomina (Novorossiysk) and Lokomotiv Green Hill (Nalchik).
The women’s group of the tournament will include the Leader school (Tikhoretsky district), which won the League gold medal last season, the judo center (Orenburg), Magnitogorsk (Magnitogorsk) and Severyanka (Tyumen).
Mikhail Pulyaev, medalist of the world championships, coach of the Russian youth team, will give a master class at the martial arts academy.
Prizes await the winners of the tournament: medals, challenge cups with personalized engraving and a trip to the Artek International Children’s Center.
