On June 18, Artur Beterbiev defeated Joe Smith Jr. by knockout in the second round. The Russian defended the WBC and IBF light heavyweight titles and also won the WBO title, which belonged to Smith.
On May 7, 2022, Dmitry Bivol defeated Mexican Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, defending his WBA super light heavyweight title.
Beterbiev and Bivol are undefeated boxers: Artur has 19 victories in professional boxing, each obtained by knockout, Dmitry has 20 victories, 11 of which are by knockout.
