Promoter says Fury will likely fight Ngannou without a knockdown

The world boxing champion’s next fight in the heavyweight category according to WBC Tyson’s Fury could be an exhibition fight against a former UFC champion Francois Ngannou .

As noted by well-known promoter Eddie Hearn, instead of the expected fight between Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, fans will likely expect an exhibition fight between the Brits and Ngannou.

Yes, that’s what I heard. Obviously, this will be an exhibition fight, with no knockdowns or anything else. I don’t know, I’m just telling you what I heard.

I think apparently that will be Fury’s next fight. It’s disappointing, but that’s the way it is. It’s a big event, but I would love to see him fight Oleksandr Usyk,” Hearn said as quoted by Boxing Social.

Fury won 33 fights, one of his fights ended in a draw.

Ngannou (17-3 in MMA) defended the UFC heavyweight belt on January 22, 2022 and then negotiated extensively with the organization, during which the parties failed to reach an agreement. After that, the fighter left the promotion.

Live broadcasts of boxing evenings are held on the channel, as well as on the matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
