Former WBC American Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder said the world champion of the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight divisions is Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk afraid to fight it.
– He’s scared of me. Usyk ran away from me so often. He was offered a lot of money to fight with me on several occasions, but he didn’t agree. He doesn’t want any problems with me,” Wilder said on the 78sportstv podcast.
Wilder, 37, held the WBC heavyweight title from 2015 to 2020 and successfully defended the belt 10 times before losing to Tyson Fury in October 2021. Usyk has 20 wins in 20 bouts in the professional ring
