Athletistic/MMA. Irish UFC fighter Conor McGregor’s latest social media post has drawn heavy criticism from mixed martial arts fans.
In his post, McGregor wrote, “What made me stronger mentally? My dead enemies.” MMA fans noticed that this post was released exactly three years after the death of Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, father of Russian UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Some users expressed their displeasure with McGregor’s act:
- “If by ‘dead enemies’ he means Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, who died exactly three years ago, then that’s just disgusting”;
- “Yes, he did it exactly on the anniversary of Abdulmanap’s death. He’s just a sick idiot”;
- “Khabib’s defeat is still eating away at him from the inside.”
In October 2018, Conor McGregor lost his UFC lightweight title fight to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
- Makhachev’s manager joked with McGregor about alcohol addiction
