The Academy of Martial Arts sports complex was built as part of the Gazprom for Children project. It was created by rebuilding the Olympic Ice Cube curling arena and building a new universal sports and training complex. The total area of the Martial Arts Academy is 63.5 thousand square meters. The competition center is equipped with four tatami mats, can accommodate two thousand spectators and is equipped with a modern refereeing system.
Gazprom for Children is one of Gazprom’s main social projects. Its objective is to create the conditions for the harmonious development of children and adolescents.
