Teams “Kama” and “Leningrad” reached the final of the third stage of the boxing tournament “Victory Cup”.
In the first semifinal, boxers from “Kama” (Privolzhsky federal district) were stronger than “Moscow”, 4-1.
Among the winners, Ruslan Belousov (up to 58 kg), Gabil Mamedov (up to 65 kg), Sergey Sergeev (up to 73 kg) and Odiljon Aslonov (up to 80 kg) celebrated their victories. The only victory in the “Moscow” was won by Ramazan Karnukaev (over 85 kg).
In the second semi-final, the team “Leningrad” (St. Petersburg and North-Western Federal District) beat “Kavkaz” (North Caucasus Federal District) with the score 3–2.
Among the winners, Vsevolod Shumkov (up to 58 kg), Ilya Popov (up to 65 kg) and Ivan Veryasov (over 86 kg) achieved superiority over their opponents. Cheerav Ashalaev (up to 73 kg) and Beshto Shavlaev (up to 80 kg) won for Kavkaz.
The 2023 Victory Cup Superfinal and third place match will take place on July 15 in Orenburg.
The Victory Cup takes place under the rules of professional boxing in five weight categories (under 58, under 65, under 73, under 80 and over 86 kg). The combat formula is four rounds of three minutes each. In case of equality of points on the notes of the referee in the fight, the victory is attributed to the boxer who was the best during the last round.
