UFC fighter trainer Brandon Moreno Saif Saud said the Mexican spent almost the entire title fight against Brazilian Alexandre Pantozha with a broken arm.
Moreno lost to the Brazilian in a five-round bout at UFC 290 in Las Vegas by split decision and lost the promotion’s flyweight title.
“I’m very proud of Moreno. These two athletes had an incredible championship fight. Congratulations to the opponent and his team. Brandon broke his right arm in the first round and still fought at an incredible pace with a lot of heart, skill and courage. He always shows the world what character he has. Never complain and never make excuses,” Saif Saud wrote on social media.
Moreno lost the eighth fight of his career with the 21st win.
