In February, Volkanovski lost to Makhachev by decision at UFC 284.

Makhachev has 24 wins with one loss.
Volkanovski defeated Mexico’s Yair Rodriguez by TKO last week to retain the UFC featherweight belt. The Australian won the title in 2019 and has since managed five defenses.
