He shares this position with American John Jones, who is the heavyweight champion of the league. Czech Jiří Prochazka made it into the top 10.
In the last fight, Volkanovski was opposed by Mexican Yair Rodriguez. The fight took place on the night of July 9 in Las Vegas (USA) during the UFC 290 tournament. Alexander defeated his opponent by technical knockout in the third round.
