World Boxing Council (WBC) President Mauricio Suleiman told that the organization fully supports the WBC world heavyweight champion. Tyson’s Fury but is fighting the former UFC heavyweight champion Francois Ngannou will not be the title.
The fight under the rules of boxing should take place on October 28 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
“We fully support our champion Fury in this non-title fight. Fury tried to have a unification fight with Usyk, a defense with Joshua and even with Ruiz. He doesn’t have a mandatory WBC fight, so we support him in his intention to have that fight,” Suleiman told .
Francis Ngannou has fought 20 fights in MMA and won 17. Fury has 33 wins in 34 bouts in professional boxing.
