Down-the-line.com / Boxing. Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, reigning WBA Super, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion, has shared his plans for the future. He said he could nominate himself for the presidency of the country.

Usyk was asked about his plans after his fight with Britain’s Tyson Fury. They are expected to fight for the undisputed world heavyweight title.

“Then I’ll go to cruiserweight, I’ll be the undisputed champion again, and then I’ll step down and run for president,” Usyk said on YouTube channel Seconds Out.

Usyk’s next fight will be with British boxer Daniel Dubois, while Fury faces MMA fighter Francis Ngannou.
