Teams “Kama” and “Leningrad” passed the weigh-in procedure before the Superfinal of the “Victory Cup”

The boxers of the “Kama” and “Leningrad” teams successfully passed the weighing procedure on the eve of the Superfinal of the boxing tournament “Victory Cup”.

The decisive stage will take place on July 15 in Orenburg. Kama (Volga Federal District boxers) met Leningrad in the Victory Cup final last year, when the Kama team proved stronger with a 3-2 score.

The Victory Cup will be held in a professional boxing format in five weight classes (Under 58, Under 65, Under 73, Under 80 and Over 86kg). The combat formula is four rounds of three minutes each. In case of equality of points on the notes of the referee in the fight, the victory is attributed to the boxer who was the best during the last round.

2019 European Games silver medalist and 2020 Olympics participant Gabil Mammadov and 2023 World Championship bronze medalist Vsevolod Shumkov will perform in Orenburg.

Up to 80 kg. Odiljon Aslonov (Uzbekistan, 80 kg) – Dmitry Karmanov (Khabarovsk, 76.95 kg);

Up to 73 kg. Dmitry Dvodnenko (Orenburg, 72.6 kg) – Pavel Sosulin (72.85 kg);

More than 86 kg: Abubakar-Salah Mutselkhanov (Orenburg, 102.2 kg) – Andrey Tyufyakov (101.4 kg).

Up to 65 kg. Gabil Mamedov (Orenburg, 64.85 kg) – Ilya Popov (64.7 kg);

Also in Orenburg, the match for third place will take place – the teams “Moscow” and “Kavkaz” (North Caucasian Federal District) will compete for bronze in the “Victory Cup”. It was “Moscow” who became the third in the first draw, and “Kavkaz” made its debut in the tournament this year.

The Victory Cup prize fund is 7.5 million rubles. For the victory, the team will receive three million rubles, for second place – two million, for third – one million. At the same time, for each victory, the boxer will receive 30,000 rubles.
