At stake will be the status of a contender for the IBF heavyweight title.
IBF heavyweight title contender Filip Hrgovic (15-0, 12 KOs) the next fight will officially be against the undefeated Aussie Demsey Mckina (22-0, 14 KOs).
Hrgovic-McKean fight will be on the undercard of the rematch Anthony Joshua And Dillian Whyte. The evening of boxing will take place on August 12 in London at the O2 Arena. DAZN will broadcast via PPV system.
Hrgovic has not been in the ring since last August, when he defeated China’s Zhang Zhilei to become the mandatory challenger for the IBF title held by Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk.
McKean last fought in October 2022. The Australian defeated German Patrick Korte to win the vacant IBF Intercontinental heavyweight title.
