Former President Donald Trump earned $2.5 million for his commentary duties at the Triller Fight Club promotion’s Holyfield vs. Belfort event in 2021, according to the Washington Post.
According to the source, the promotion also provided Trump with a private jet.
“The payment to Trump for his commentary work was consistent with fees normally received by celebrity commentators,” Triller said.
The fight itself two years ago between legendary boxer Evander Holyfield and former UFC light heavyweight champion Vitor Belfort ended in victory for the latter. Belfort knocked out his opponent at the end of the second minute of the first set.
