ACA Flyweight Grand Prix quarter-final between Askar Askarov And Azamat Kerefov postponed indefinitely – for medical reasons, Askarov will not be able to fight on July 21 at the ACA 160 tournament in Moscow, said league chief Alexei Yatsenko.
This fight should be the first for Askarov after leaving the UFC. The fighter has been playing in this league since 2019, had three wins, suffered one loss and took a fight to a draw. Prior to the UFC, Askarov played in the DIA (now ACA).
“I hope that in the near future we will have an agreement on when Askar Askarov will return to service, and we will decide on the date of this most interesting fight,” reports the correspondent of according to the words of Yatsenko.
In the main event of the ACA 160 tournament, the quarterfinal match in the welterweight division will be contested by league champion Vitaly Slipenko and Ustarmagomed Gadzhidaudov.
