The Ukrainian responded to the words of Deontay Wilder that Alexander is afraid to fight him
WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO World Heavyweight Champion Oleksandr Usyk commented on the words of the ex-world champion Deontay Wilderthat the Ukrainian is afraid to enter the ring against him.
“It’s me, I’m the one most feared. Am I a boogeyman who scares my opponents? I don’t need to intimidate them at all – they do it themselves. ”
“All people are afraid, absolutely everyone. There is no fear only if you are crazy. Both people who enter the ring are afraid, that’s normal.”
Usyk will face WBO title contender Daniel Dubois in his next fight. The fight will take place on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland, at the Tarczynski Arena. It was reported that Usyk will receive 75% of the total prize fund – $6 million. Dubois can count on 25% – 2 million.
Alexander in his last fight again defeated Briton Anthony Joshua, defending his belts. Dubois defeated Kevin Lerena by TKO in December and retained the status of the mandatory challenger for the WBA belt, owned by the Ukrainian.
